If any article, section or part of this code shall be declared to be unconstitutional, invalid or inoperative in whole or in part, by a court of competent jurisdiction, such article, section or parts shall to the extent that it is not unconstitutional, invalid or inoperative, remain in full force and effect, and no such determination shall be deemed to invalidate the remaining articles, section or parts of this code.

CODE
For purposes of this chapter, the Essex County Administrative Code together with any amendments and supplements thereto; for purposes of other chapters of the Code, the Essex County Administrative Code together with any amendments and supplements thereto or the Code of the County of Essex together with any amendments and supplements thereto, whichever is appropriate in the context.

The rate schedule for towing and storage of vehicles on County roadways, attached hereto and made a part hereof, for the period July 27, 2016, through July 26, 2019, is hereby approved.[1]

The Purchasing Agent or designee and/or the County Risk Manager or designee will handle all disputes between the public and the towing vendors.

  Another Life Lost to NJ Transit: When Will It End? Early Sunday morning, tragedy struck in Newark when an NJ Transit bus hit two pedestrians, leaving one dead and another seriously injured. According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the incident occurred at 12:18 a.m. on the 400 block of Springfield Avenue.
